Well, this morning I took the boys to the Children's Museum of Minnesota. It is always a fun adventure no matter how crowded the place seems to get. Mitchell always loves playing in the make-believe town. His favorite spot is in the water works area where he and dozens of other children play with water toys and the parents sit back praying they don't all get soaked. Dylan is along for the ride until we reach the HabiTot area where he can crawl around in an infant friendly area (basically a padded room). he loves checking himself out in the mirrors and making faces to anyone that will look back at him. It's a lot of work to bring them down there, but they both have fun and we all get out of the house, so it is definitely worth it. The video here is of Mitchell when we went to the CMM back in March with Scott's mom Lynn. He loves the slides and running around in the toddler area!

It's spring outside!
He's also have a good time trying to taste all of the other things on the lawn...sticks, leaves, grass (at least I won't have to worry about how much fiber he is getting!

The Spring
Ok, well, Scott has not yet become a follower (go down the side of the page on the right all the way to the bottom - click on Follow this page). But, I have faith that he will be up on this page soon as we have officially gotten him going again on Facebook, so here I go. The last week has been absolutely amazing as far as the weather goes, so the boys and I have been spending all of our time outside. I'm getting a nice little tan and I realized now why so many mothers have sunburns...you send your kids outside to run off their energy and you get to be in the sun!!! WAHOO. Last year, with a newborn, I didn't get out much so I will definetly have to make up for it this year. My parents porch is now overtaken by toddler toys...large plastic trucks, an exersaucer that was converted into a place for Dylan to walk around, a picnic table and 2 kickballs large enough so that Dutchess can't sink her teeth into them. We are enjoying the 60-70 degree weather and I am anxiously awaiting our Little Tike climber so that the boys can climb and slide all day long. Of course, putting the darn thing together is another story, but I'll be sure to let you all know how I feel about that when the time comes. Until then, I am posting the video of my optomistic self getting ready to put together our picnic table.

Let's try this again!
Hello all! Well, if anyone is still checking this blog, I just wanted to explain myself. One big reason I started this blog was to let Scott in on our day-to-day adventures. He has thus far been unable (or maybe unwilling ;-))to check out the blog. So, Scott, if you are reading this, become a follower of my blog and I will post some pics and videos of the boys for you all to enjoy.
